Koki’s Computer School’s First Graduation Ceremony
Sabinet’s Chairperson’s Fund assists Koketso Nkuna’s business, Koki’s Computer School, as an enterprise development project. We assist her with advice, funds, equipment etc. to grow her business which currently operates mainly in Mamelodi.
We want to share Koketso’s progress report for the first quarter of the year, her future plans and how Sabinet will further assist her with you. During February 2008, 15 students registered for the Basic Computer Training classes at the Stanza Bopape Community Library in Mamelodi East.
According to Koketso her students are self-motivated and disciplined learners. She will start classes at the Mamelodi West Community Library soon. Tshwane Community Library and Information Services has made a room available at this library with 10 internet access points with the hope that more people in Mamelodi West will be able to receive Basic Computer Skills. The Sabinet Chairperson’s Fund decided to sponsor Koki’s Computer School with 7 computers to use at this new computer training venue.Koketso is currently attempting to get accreditation for her course from Seta and we trust that she will achieve this soon. Her future plans are to expand her training course to Halala and West Park Community Libraries. We wish her well and will continue to support her to grow her business.
