This course is an interactive, hands-on course which focusses on helping you find your required books and articles when using our Reference services.

The following databases are covered during the training session:

• SACat Plus
• SA Citations
• News Research Services
• African Industry Reports
• Sabinet African Archives Index

This course focusses on:

• Search techniques like Boolean, command and proximity searching.
• Databases available on our Reference platform and what information can be found in them.
• Available features, such as saving items for printing or e-mailing, limiting searches, sorting results, etc.
