Ripping up the neighborhood…

Mar 16, 2009 | Blog, Technology

I was reminded during the past week of how dependent I have become of my Telkom DSL connection at home. Over and above the convenience of Internet at my finger tips its the luxury of being able to bring some order to the chaotic state of my corporate email Inbox. The luxury of having uninterrupted access to the Internet during those hours at night when all is quiet at home. I will have to find a way to cut down on the volume of email I deal with daily. But I digress. My DSL line has been down for more than a week now. This (for me) is most frustrating. And at times like these I am reminded once again of Neotel, through all the trenches that have turned our neighborhood in such a mess. I can’t but help to think that their trenches in the steets is the reason for my line being down ? But, it also reminds me that its perhaps time to seriously consider the various Neotel product offerings ? Having had a look at the Postnet Website (agents for Neotel) the Neoconnect Prime product offering looks very good. But, before I consider making such a move, I’d be keen to hear your experiences ? Have any of you made the move from Telkom to Neotel for Broadband connectivity yet, and if so, what are your impressions ?
