Addition of proposed amendments to Legislation on the Sabinet Legislation Product (NetLaw)

Sabinet is happy to announce that any proposed amendments to a specific piece of legislation will be made available on its South African Legislation Product (Netlaw). As from 1 April 2014 you will start to notice that any proposed amendments to a piece of Legislation will reflect under that specific Section of an Act and will display as follows:Please note that this new addition will not apply retrospectively and will only reflect on the Legislation as and when any new Amendment Acts are published from 1 April 2014 onwards.When using Sabinet’s Legislation product it is important to note that it remains the responsibility of users to ensure that at all times they are referring to the Sections of an Act which are in force and currently applicable and not the proposed amendments not yet in force.
